Endometriosis Association of Ireland Board of Trustees Statement

The Directors and Board of Trustees of the Endometriosis Association of Ireland have released the following statement in light of recent developments within the board.

“The Endometriosis Association of Ireland (EAI) would like to acknowledge the recent criticism that has been directed towards the organisation.

We are aware as the national organisation for those suffering from endometriosis and other related conditions, the standards that you expect from the EAI may not have been met.

The EAI is a fully volunteer led charitable organisation that relies on the members of the board of directors to manage the day to day operations of the charity. In relation to the board, it has recently been in a state of flux resulting in varying numbers of trustees to assist the organisation.

We now feel that the EAI is in a position to better assist our members and the wider endometriosis community. We have the most complete board of trustees with varying skill sets which will result in more consistency from the charity.

Our first priority is to gain valuable feedback from you to build the organisation’s strategy to better enable your everyday.

We will be conducting a survey in the very near future to better understand your critiques of the charity and the direction that you believe the charity should be heading.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the endometriosis community for their understanding.”
