Endometriosis Information Day 2015
EAI Press Release Information Day 2015
The Endometriosis Association of Ireland is hosting their annual Information Day in The Spa Hotel Lucan on 21st March 2015 and would love you to join them.
In Ireland, it is estimated that approximately 1 in 10 women suffer with endometriosis, a condition that can have a significant impact on sufferer's lives and that of their friends and families.
The Endometriosis Association of Ireland (EAI) is a registered charity that was established in 1987. It is a non-profit and non-governmental patient organisation, striving to provide support and information for sufferers of endometriosis. Their aim is to create awareness of the condition amongst women and the medical profession and also awareness of the symptoms, effects and treatment options.
One of the key calendar events annually for the EAI is their annual Information Day. This year it is being held during Endometriosis Awareness week in Ireland (21st — 28th March) on Saturday 21st March 2015. The theme for this year's event is 'Enabling Your Everyday'.
Commenting on the choice of theme for this year's information day, Kathleen King, Chairperson of the EAI said: "At the end of last year we undertook another exciting project, which was to refresh our brand identity and as part of this project we wanted to define in one line what The Endometriosis Association offers sufferers and their friends and families. My team collectively arrived at 'Enabling Your Everyday' as we felt that with our help and support and the provision of information we can allow sufferers to do just that. Also it is an extremely positive sentiment and a positive mentality is what we want everyone who sufferers from this condition and everyone we liaise with to have. As a result, we felt it would be the perfect theme for this years Information day."
