First steps in diagnosis should be a detailed ultrasound and blood work. I have included some good files on our drive below.
Blood work includes – FSH, LH, Oestradiol, 17 HydroxyProgesterone, Testosterone, SHBG, Fasting Glucose, Fasting Insulin, DHEAS and Androstenedione and AMH Levels
Not all PCOS is classic in presentation – so not always dark hair (hirsuitism), overweight, visible ovarian cysts.
