For before the surgery I stayed in Nottingham Place Hotel – right across the road from the Princess Grace Hospital. It’s a small boutique hotel but ideal location for hospital.

PBS suggests staying in London 5-7 nights after surgery – for this I’d strongly recommend booking an apartment so you have more space than a hotel room. I stayed in this apartment right beside Edgeware Road tube station. Spacious, 2 bed, 2 bath, clean, modern, great location and lift access. Would recommend.
