Dr Burke has gynae-oncology experience which many see as being suitable for endometriosis, however, it is no guarantee that she will use excision or remove all disease found, it is worth speaking with her and getting a feeling on how she will handle individual cases (if you cannot get a referral). As Dr O’Neill is one of the only attempts at an endometriosis centre in Ireland (nurse, urologist, colo rectal surgeon in place alongside her) this may be able to be used as a factor for referral?
