nkelley13Had surgery with PBS in 2018, 5 incisions as he used the robot. 2 days in hospital with a drain and catheter and he requested i stay in London min 1 week to ensure no bowel complications. Catheter had to stay in for a week post op, but didn’t need to take the opioids I was prescribed on discharge. Surgery was extensive but was able to go for lunch the day I flew home and didn’t need to use the airport assistance as was OK walking. 5 weeks off work as was fatigued and found sitting uncomfortable. Took about 12 months to fully recover with some pelvic physio.
Wish I had done it 20 years ago!
