[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On behalf of the Endometriosis Association of Ireland and all those affected by endometriosis, I would like to congratulate and thank those who have participated on our behalf.
The Flora Women’s Mini Marathon is one of our major fundraising events and is an important public relations opportunity for the Association. Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women in Ireland, up to 176 million women worldwide. Yet, it remains relatively unknown when compared with other chronic illnesses, such as asthma and diabetes. With the support of our members we can raise the profile of women living in Ireland with endometriosis. Our aim is to ensure that young women are diagnosed in a timely manner (current average 8 – 11 years) and have access to specialist treatment centres.
By participating in the FWMM 2014 on behalf of the EAI, you have made an important contribution to making this a reality, THANK YOU!
I look forward to preparing to participate in the 2015 FWMM alongside TEAM ENDOMETRIOSIS!
