Anton meets three women living with the condition

You may not realise it but endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women and up to 155,000 in Ireland alone. Yet there is still a huge amount of misinformation and stigma surrounding the condition.

In Ireland, there's on average a nine year delay in diagnosis from the onset of symptoms and it is often missed completely, misdiagnosed as IBS/UTI's or even 'psychosomatic'.

As a result, many women aren't aware they have endometriosis until they try to have children.

This morning, Anton met three women living with the condition, Kathleen King, Julie Ronaghan and Audrey Bryan who detailed their own experiences, and how it has affected their lives.
